Pastors

 

Neil Silverberg

Neil Silverberg –Neil Silverberg was born in 1953 and was raised in a Jewish home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and as a teenager moved to Miami, Florida. He first heard the Gospel from the lips of his brother Perry who was saved and delivered from drug use by the power of God. Neil heard the Gospel and in 1971, surrendered his life to the call of God. Immediately, he sensed a call to the work of God and began to prepare for it.

 

Since that time, Neil pastored several churches and has traveled widely both in the U.S. and abroad. Neil is a gifted teacher with a deep knowledge of Scripture whose teaching gift has helped many. Besides being the Senior Pastor and lead elder at Trinity Chapel, Neil currently serves as the team leader for MasterBuilders, a network of New Testament churches in the US, Puerto Rico and The Dominican Republic.  Neil also operates Master Press, a publishing company that publishes both his own and other works. He is also a gifted musician and has two CD's currently on the market. Neil and his wife Shelly have three sons, Micah, Joel and David.

Mark Medley

Mark Medley - Mark came on staff at Trinity in 1989. He serves our body in many ways, most notably in training leaders and teaching.  Mark helps with the training and development of leaders, counseling, and assists ministry team leaders in setting up systems and processes to assure ministry is maximized at Trinity.   Mark also currently oversees Trinity's worship ministry.  He authored the book, "Because He's Worthy", an excellent worship resource, covering both the scriptural and musical aspects of worship ministry in local churches. In addition, he travels, equipping leadership teams in local churches and training in worship, family and theology through conferences and teaching. Mark and his wife Melissa have four children, Katie, Emily, Allison and Zachary. Melissa sings beautifully alongside Mark and is a great source of wisdom for mothers who desire to be excellent parents.

Adam and Sarah Lutts

Adam Lutts - Adam & Sarah Lutts head up Frontline Youth Group at Trinity Chapel. Adam has been a Pastor on staff at Trinity since 2004. Adam and his wife, Sarah, have three daughters and have a heart to see the next generation trained and released to advance the Kingdom.  They desire to see teens throughout the region develop a passion for Jesus and truly experience the power of God. They work tirelessly to make sure that our youth grow up to be mighty men and women of God! They also coordinate Teen Mission Trips every summer where kids are impacted and changed for life.

Tyler Lynde

Tyler Lynde - Tyler is the Children’s Ministry Director at Trinity Chapel. He comes from a ministry background where he has served at different times as praise and worship leader, youth pastor, senior pastor, and most recently as the life groups pastor of a large church in North Carolina.  He has known and partnered in ministry with Neil and Shelly Silverberg for many years. His passion is that the children’s ministry would partner together with the parents of Trinity to ensure that these wonderful children would learn how to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. He is married to Amy and has four children, Jordan, Hannah, Levi, & Benjamin.

Rob Ellis

Rob Ellis – Rob, along with his wife Chris, head up the Children’s Ministry Outreach team at Trinity. They lead inner city outreach opportunities sponsored by Trinity Chapel as well as partnering with KICKO (Knoxville Inner City Kids Outreach) Rob and Chris have also worked in our Children's Ministry since 1998. They are the lead teachers in Heir Force, shepherding the hearts of our 4th-5th graders. They also do a fabulous job with our Vacation Bible School, Hallelujah Hoedown and other children's functions throughout the year. Additionally, Rob coordinates the production of our video ministry at Trinity.  Rob and Chris have six children, Jessica, Camille, Olivia, Sarah, Samuel, & Elsie.

Jack and Jean Wright

Jack Wright - Jack has been an asset to Trinity for many years. Jack is one of the founding members and used to lead worship with an infectious joy that can still be seen today in his ever-present smile. Jack assists in providing governmental leadership, counseling, hospital visitation and is active in small groups. We are truly blessed to have him as part of our leadership.

Cherrie Shipe

Office Coordinator - Cherrie Shipe

Cherrie has been on our staff since 1991. She works tirelessly to make sure that everything is in order and the body's needs are met. Cherrie has been very active in VBS and Jr. Camp, Hallelujah Hoedown, just about anywhere she's needed. She loves children. The children she has taught over the years now have children of their own. She is the heart of our church and truly irreplaceable! Cherrie is married to Larry Shipe and has 1 daughter, Andrea and two lovely grandchildren.

Amy Huckwell

Accountant - Amy Huckwell

Amy has been such a blessing to the accounting aspect of the church! Amy is also involved in the Children's Ministry and homeschool ministries of Trinity Chapel and does what she can to help the body. She and her husband Gary live in Powell with their 2 children.

Steve Fatow

Steve Fatow - Steve was senior pastor at Trinity for 27 years. While Steve is no longer on staff, we support his traveling evangelistic and prophetic ministry to churches and to the nations. Steve holds evangelistic crusades in foreign countries each month, seeing thousands respond to the Gospel message as well as many instant healings in the meetings. Steve also ministers to local pastors and leaders at Pastors' Conferences, held in conjunction with his crusades. In addition, he is on the board of overseers of a network of churches called Masterbuilder's Fellowship. Steve is married to an awesome woman of God, Sandi. They have two daughters, Deborah and Leah and seven grandchildren. Sandi travels to prisons all over the US and has even co-authored her autobiography, "Smokin' and Jokin'."
