Fri. May 24--Father/Son Men's Hoot
Men of Trinity, get ready for a great annual event happening at Tony Lieser's home on Fri. May 24 starting at 6:30PM. There will be lots of food available for any donation and we will have a bonfire, play cornhole and other games, and have a great time of fellowship. Please see Brian Durfee for directions and any questions that you might have.
Sun. May 26--Church Picnic
We have a great Trinity community opportunity coming up on Sunday May 26. Immediately following the service, we are having a picnic on the grounds. The church will be providing chicken, paper goods, & drinks and we ask that you would bring a side dish. There will be more details at church in the weeks ahead. We will be playing games such as corn hole, basketball, & volleyball and will also have an impromptu talent show. We hope that you will make plans to attend. It wouldn't be the same without you!

For this YTEC class we will work through key points of the Life of Daniel and how they can apply to our lives now in an inter-active and open setting. We will look at aspects of belonging, positive and negative peer pressure, how to handle difficulty, and the keys to being an influential leader.

In Romans 14:17, For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost, we are reminded that the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. While it is very important to make sure we nourish our bodies, the temple of the Holy Spirit, it is critical that Christians keep their focus on the spiritual. The apostle Paul reminds us that the Kingdom of God is righteousness, which includes moderation, self-control and diligence. It takes character to make right choices. This is true in every area of life, including our eating and exercising habits.

This class is a continuation of the study of the gifts of the Spirit and their function today.
